I think icebergs are fascinating. Because it said," scientists call the splitting of an iceberg, calving," I find that interesting about an iceberg it also makes me feel that icebergs are fascinating because it said,"One of the largest Antarctic icebergs formed recently is 185 miles long and 25 miles wide," my last piece of evidence that shows I think icebergs are fascinating is ," Sometimes an iceberg has something called a foot , which just means they have and an extension completely underwater." I think icebergs are fascinating , what do you think?

I claim that icebergs are fascinating. In the article, "Icebergs: Floating Snow Cones", It says, "The fastest-moving Antarctic glacier moves about 1 ¼ miles in a year." It also says that, "Sometimes, an iceberg has what is called a foot, an extension completely underwater." I find these facts very interesting! It also says that some come in different colors, like: Green, deep sea blue, and white. They also come in different structures.

I think icebergs are terrifying. I think this because they are giant mounds of ice floating around and are huge and intimidating. I also believe this because in the text it said "One of the largest Antarctic icebergs formed recently is 185 miles long and 25 miles wide." That's huge! That is one reason I am scared of icebergs, their size. Also in the text, it said "It was an iceberg that sank the Titanic in 1912, killing 1,503 people." Why wouldn't you be scared of that? That is why I think icebergs are terrifying.

I think that icebergs are scary because they fall on you and you can die. They are big and they fall all the time.

I think Icebergs are pretty cool. If you think about it, if you go to somewhere cold, you'll see big chunks of ice. I never knew that an iceberg can be green or dark blue. There's a lot of cool facts about ice -bergs. Just like the biggest recorded iceberg was 182 miles long and 25 miles wide icebergs are cool.

I think icebergs are interesting because, there fresh water not salt water also, the largest icebergs was 185 miles long and 25 miles wide.

Well if I were on a cruise ship or working on it or the captain of it I would probably be a little scared because when I watched the movie titanic and read a book about it , then saw that 1,503 people died in real life I was a little scared to ride on a cruise ship but i'm ok with it now but i'm still a little freaked out. If I were a captain of a cruise ship and I had to sail the ship at night I wouldn't be able to see if there was a iceberg foot in front of the ship and if it was going to sink the ship if it hit the bottom. Or if I was riding in a motor boat and the sailor crashed into a iceberg foot the boat would sink fast if it was badly damaged or I could be stranded but the boat doesn't sink it , it just scares me a little bit

I think icebergs are cool because the article said the largest iceberg was 185 miles long and 25 miles wide. i thing is is cool to because when glaciers finally reach the coast huge pieces split off in to the ocean these are icebergs. These icebergs come from the land not the sea they are made of fresh water not salt water. Scientist call splitting icebergs calving Every year thousands of icebergs for in the ocean around the antarctic.

I think icebergs are TERRIFYING because in the article close to the end it say "sometimes on a iceberg is what is called a "foot," an extension completely under water" No wonder why the titanic sunk! Speaking of titanic if you were on a cruise or something in WINTER you might be the "next titanic" because the "foot" of the iceberg might hit the ship and you will start to sink and if you did survive you will be afraid of the water for the rest of your life! Do you want to go to the beach again? I you do then don't go on a cruise in winter, or a cruise to some place cold! BUT if you do want to be afraid of the water for the rest of your life time then go ahead and waste your money on something you might die on. That's about 2,000 dollars down the drain. But it dose not mater because you will be dead.So that's what I think about icebergs. What do you?

I personally think icebergs are fascinating, because I think it is really cool that an iceberg has a foot! And I also think it is amazing that they are formed from glaciers and sheets of ice. calving is exceptionally awesome because it is the action of the iceberg actually splitting in half or just splitting down the sides it is so cool how that happens. And I can't believe the fastest moving iceberg can go 1 ¼ miles in one year most icebergs cant even go ⅓ a mile in one month! If you don’t think they are cool you are CRAZY!! ( How do you NOT like icebergs) The fact that one sunk the unsinkable is kind of scary but I don’t know. It is cool that icebergs come from land so they are not salty they are fresh. Now really I think they are cool but I know you might not you can think what you think.

I think that icebergs are fascinating. Icebergs are giant blocks of ice that float around the sea. Icebergs come in different shapes, sizes and colors. Here you wouldn't see a huge block of ice in the ocean if you were on a boat. Icebergs are so dangerous that it was an iceberg that sank the titanic. Also in alot of places its rare to see them just like here.

I think that they are fantastic because the biggest one is 185 miles long and 25 miles wide don't you think that is awesome and how they have a "foot"and how they are formed that's also pretty cool. How first the moisture from the ocean rise into the earth's atmosphere and that in Antarctica's air is cold there and when the water falls it turns into snow so when it touches the water it floats so then it gets heavier and heavier until it turns to ice and when it's a cold climate there's lots of ice. 90 percent of the world's ice is from Antarctica. Also huge areas of ice called glaciers and ice sheets slowly move to the sea. when the glaciers finally meet the coast they split into icebergs (scientist call the splitting of the ice calving). Lastly because icebergs are from the land they are made of fresh water not salt water.

I think that icebergs are very fascinating. Some may think they are dreadful because of one accident. But who would think that an iceberg would make history! They are interesting in many ways like how they are they are formed and the many different colors they can be and so on.

I think an iceberg and very fascinating, because one of the largest Antarctic iceberg formed recently is 185 miles long and 25 miles wide and it is very fascinating.
