Yes, in "Boar Out There" everyone says that the Boar is scary so that's what I believed.

A character that changed my mind was the boar from Boar Out There. That is because in the beginning of the book, the whole town of Glen Morgan was afraid of the boar that lived in the woods. No one would even go near it. They were all scared of it. One day , a little girl went passed the fence and saw the boar. Now the girl was really afraid of the boar. Now the thing she knew that the town of Glen Morgan was afraid of the boar, but what she didn't know was that the boar was afraid of them. The boar was afraid of little girls, the boar was afraid of birds that flew by. So what I learned is to not judge someone by the way they look or by the way the sound. So that effected my life.

I think a lot of people changed in the book ruby bridges. At the beginning of the book ruby and 2 other african americans girls got in to the schools. On the first day to school there we hundreds of people protesting to not have ruby in the school it was so bad the mayor had cops bring her into the school.

One character who changed me was Kek. He changed me because he taught me that everyone has a different perspective on things. In the story, Kek's home was destroyed by "men with guns", so he must be pretty depressed. Except when I think about it, the men with guns must have had a reason to attack. That was when I started thinking about how I could apply this to my own life.

The book that made me change my mind was Granny Torelli Makes Soup. This is the book that changed my mind because I thought when a friend has a rude response to something you did to help them they did not want to be your friend anymore. Now I know you can forgive them for their response. I know this because in the book Rosie learned braille because her friend Bailey is blind. When she showed him, he got mad because he thought she memorized the worded book by heart and wasn't really reading braille, but she was. Bailey said sorry, it took Rosie a while but she eventually did forgive Bailey for his actions. Now I give friends a little while to say sorry if they don't they are not true friends.

In Esperanza Rising,I thought Esperanza would know more then just command servants but no she doesn't she doesn't even know how to sweep! She's at her aunt's camp because she had just lost her father and he was the man who owned the land that they were living on and he died and so her uncle Tio Luis can take it away from them so now they barely enough money to keep on living there so now she is watching her aunt and uncles friends juan and josefina's Babies Lupe and Pepe while they work at the grape hills packing the grapes into a truck and she has a cousin named Isabel and she's only 8 years old and Esperanza is 13 and Isabel know how to sweep and change the babies and wash their diapers and Esperanza doesn't even know how to do them all! At the beginning i thought she could do more then just order around servants but actually that's all she can really do.

I changed my mind when I read Auggie and me! Because I had a bully and I thought bully's are complete jerks and had no emotions but after I read Auggie and me I felt a little bad for my bully because in Auggie and me Julian was a jerk to Auggie but when I read Auggie and me I felt bad for Julian because he had no role models to look up to so he could turn out to be nice. His role model to be mean was his mom ( The apple dose not fall far from the tree!) But his dad is nice but he has no say in Julian's behavior! So I changed my mind about my old bully and thought why he bullied me.

When I read a book called because of Winn Dixie it made me understand how some people feel about something. It made me think that I should think how others feel about something. As the book went on the girl, Opal, grew more attached to the dog. The dad ,preacher, knows that but also knows that the dog has to go. Everyone knows that Opal loves Winn. Everyone helps (well almost everyone). What made me think about thinking how others feel is because in the book it talks a lot about how others feel. Know that i read this book it makes think about how others feel.
